About LLH Mediation

About Me

Hello and welcome. I am Lucie Holland and a seasoned professional with over 24 years of experience in policing, including an extensive career in the detective world. Throughout my journey in law enforcement, I’ve developed a deep understanding of human behaviour, conflict resolution, and the power of clear communication.

From Detective Work to Mediation

After decades of navigating complex investigations and managing long protracted enquiries, I’ve chosen to channel my skills into a new path mediation. My experience has taught me that resolution doesn’t always come from enforcement, sometimes, it comes from understanding, empathy and dialogue.

I am passionate about helping individuals and organisations resolve conflict constructively, drawing on the same principles that guided me through my detective career: integrity, impartiality and a commitment to truth.

What I Offer

• Professional Mediation Services: Whether it’s workplace conflict, community tensions or civil/commercial disputes, I provide a calm, structured environment for resolution.

• Conflict Coaching and Consultation: I help clients build the tools to manage and prevent conflict before it escalates.

My Approach

I believe in practical solutions, respectful dialogue and empowering people to move forward. My background gives me a unique lens: I understand the stakes, the emotions, and the need for clarity.

Let’s Connect

If you’re facing a challenge or simply want to learn more about how mediation can help, I’d love to hear from you. Reach out after all, resolution starts with a conversation.

How I handle disputes

I start by listening. I ask plain questions to understand the real issues behind the disagreement and what each person needs. That helps us avoid wasted time and get to the point quickly.

Next, I guide a calm conversation where everyone gets to speak and be heard. I look for practical options and agree on steps that people can actually follow. The aim is to leave with clear actions and less stress.

My approach and values

I stay neutral and treat everyone with respect. That makes it easier for people to speak honestly and for real solutions to appear. I focus on clear language, fair process and practical outcomes rather than blame.

I value privacy and straightforward plans. That helps people rebuild trust and move forward without dragging problems out longer than they need to be.
